Scorehand Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Who we are

Scorehand ("Scorehand", "we", "us") operates the Scorehand plugin for MuseScore Studio and the Scorehand Talkback assistant for REAPER. This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it and your rights. For arrangements and the chart tools, see the music privacy notice.

What we collect

Account and billing: your email address, your key, plan and credit balance, usage counts, and payment records from PayPal (we never see your card or PayPal password).

Scorehand plugin: your score is sent to our server only to make the edit and is not stored. We keep the text of your requests and our replies.

Scorehand Talkback: Scorehand Talkback does not upload your audio or project files, and analysis runs inside REAPER. When you make a request we receive it, a short summary of your project (such as track and item names, positions, markers and analysis figures) and the recent conversation. If you speak a request, your recording is sent to our server to be turned into text and deleted straight after; we keep the text. If you use Report a problem, we receive your last request, the reply and actions, any note you add and your software versions.

Website visits: IP address, pages viewed and the approximate location of the IP address (city, country and network).

Why we use it

To make the edits you ask for; to run your key, plan and credits; to take payment; to stop abuse, including free-use limits; to send service email and occasional follow-ups about your key; to fix problems and improve the Service; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

Legal bases (UK/EU/EEA users)

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in securing, improving and promoting the Service, your consent for optional cookies, and legal obligation for tax and accounting records.

Who processes it

Anthropic (the AI model that works out the changes; your request and the score or project summary are sent to it); PayPal (payment); Twilio (email delivery); Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage; spoken requests are turned into text on our own server there); ipwho.is (approximate IP location, shown only to us); and Google, if our pages load the Google tag for ad measurement.

How long we keep it

Requests, replies and voice transcripts: 180 days. Visit logs: 90 days. Reports from Report a problem: as long as we need them to investigate. Account, charge and payment records: as long as your account is active and as the law requires, typically up to 7 years for financial records.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it, at hi@aihud.net. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including complaining to a data protection authority.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We will post updates here with a new date.
