Edit scores by just asking, inside MuseScore

Tell it “add a string pad under bars 1–32” and it writes the notes into your open score. Walking bass lines, horn voicings, easier parts, chord symbols. One Ctrl+Z undoes it.

Next step after the free tools: change the music itself. Works in MuseScore 4 on Windows, Mac and Linux. 100 free edits to start, then 10 free every month, no card needed.

How the tools fit together

  1. Photo or PDF of a chart → Sheet Music to MuseScore gives you an editable MusicXML / .mscz.
  2. Wrong key or instrument? → Chart Transposer makes the B♭, E♭ or F part.
  3. Change the music in MuseScore 4 → Scorehand writes bass lines, voicings, pads and simpler parts.
  4. Need the whole band? → AI Arranger writes it for your ensemble.
  5. Recording in REAPER? → Talkback edits, mixes and masters from plain-English requests.

Questions

Which tool do I start with?

Have a PDF or photo? Start with Sheet Music to MuseScore. Need a part for another instrument or key? Use the Chart Transposer (it also reads photos and PDFs). Want to change the music itself (add a bass line, harmonize, simplify)? Open the MusicXML in MuseScore 4 and use Scorehand. Working on a recording in REAPER? That is Talkback.

Are the tools free?

The converter and transposer share 5 free charts a month with a free account (just an email address). Scorehand Charts is $12 a month for 20 charts. Scorehand gives you 100 free edits to start, then 10 free every month. Full arrangements start with a free 16-bar preview, then a fixed quote.

Do you keep my music?

No. Uploads to the converter and transposer are deleted as soon as they have been read, and results are deleted after 24 hours. Uploads waiting for email confirmation or an unpaid quote are kept up to 24 hours, then deleted.
